CITIES IN ACTION!

Cities100 is filled to the brim with successful solutions showing that cities are taking action on climate change on a global scale. Regardless of wealth or resources, size or location, cities around the world are learning from one another, adapting global best practices to fit local circumstances, and demonstrating that we have the power to take action to build a smarter, more resilient, and resource-efficient world. In the lead up to COP21 this publication is igniting hope that results are possible and action is happening. We hope it will inspire the political discussions.

The publication is a collaboration between C40, Realdania and Sustainia and you can read, download and share it here for free!

The 2015 newly named C40 Cities Awards took place on the evening of December 3rd 2015 in Paris. to coincide the activities around COP21, and aimed to share highly replicable ‘best practices’ across cities and draw attention to outstanding performances that have achieved a high level of environmental success in a challenging context.
