Every bad review I read, I have had the same experience. Ordered our patio door in Mid November and didn’t finish till end of July and kept having issues with scratched panes of glass. Each time they would install, 7 times this happened, my husband had to take off work cause install guys refused to work weekends, which used over a week of time off. This company could care less about keeping people happy.

I will never use them again, we only went with them cause we were very happy with the countertops we had installed by Home Depot. But we realize countertops and window customer service is completely different. I hope you have a Window Store in your area, we used them for our windows and wish we had for our patio door. Needless to say I will tell anyone I can to stay away from this company for Windows. What a nightmare this has been to deal with, and yes we wrote the company a lengthy letter wanting compensation and even that offer is a slap in the face for what we’ve dealt with. Pursue other options.

Was supposed to have an in-home consult about my basement windows. Home Depot guy called at the last minute and rescheduled for the next day. Then he failed to show up. Never do business with this outfit. I never will.

They made wrong measurements, ordered wrong size sliding windows, and then proposed to make our windows smaller to solve the problem! The irresponsible person we were working with was Andrew **. He also gave us a wrong quote and increased the price of installation, after we placed the order. We started this process beginning of summer. It is now almost end of August and we have to start over the ordering process. They have wasted our time. We have to go to Home Depot every time we want to communicate with them. Home Depot should really do something about this mess that they have created. Unfortunately, they do not feel any responsibility and the entire team is terrible in terms of communications.

We purchased Milgard Tuscany windows through Home Depot. We had all new windows installed in OCTOBER. One of the windows broke literally the day after installation. It took Home Depot until JANUARY to finally replace the broken window. We just had another window break. Home Depot told us that a local installer should contact us by July 17th. That means we have to wait up to 6 days just to have someone call us to schedule an appointment. Who knows how long until this window actually gets repaired or replaced now? Home Depot warranty service is HORRIBLE.

I was very pleased with the salesperson who came to our home and sold us a replacement window. But the installation is a nightmare. Today was the 6th contractor appointment. He called at the last minute and said he could not find our window at the Home Depot warehouse. The previous contractor made 4 appointments calling and canceling the first 3 due to weather. The fourth appointment was a no show no call on a sunny day. They assigned a new contractor. Called at last minute to say we are the third job of the day and he could not get to us (appointment 5). On appointment 6 he called and said Home Depot could not tell him where the window is, canceling appointment 6.

If I could give this review a 0 I would! I live in Calgary AB and went to Home Depot to purchase some blinds for my new home. I ordered them a month before possession so I would have them in time. I was told to have the designer Monika come out to my new home to look at the blinds and make a choice. I already knew what I wanted and what colour I wanted which was Charcoal. The designer came to my house to see that the colours of my house was grey, white and black. I wanted black charcoal for my windows. After 3 weeks the blinds arrived for me to find my CUSTOM blinds came in the colour brown! Or “hiking trail” as it was labelled. I could not believe it! I paid $1500 for these blinds!

I phoned the designer to see what happened and she was completely rude and had the ignorance to tell me that I signed off on the paperwork. Now let me tell you that the blinds and colours are all coded. Nowhere on my receipt does it say brown so how would I know that the code she wrote down was wrong. I have now had the runaround from Home Depot. I called Monika again on Monday to see what the update was and she couldn’t even remember talking to me on the Friday!! I went in to the store and called the customer care line who has still not called me back!

This is the worst experience I have ever had and not even an apology or anyone wanting to try and fix this. This is the worst experience and I will NEVER shop Home Depot window coverings again and I warn everyone! Look at the colour code on your paperwork and match it to the code in the book just in case they mess up huge like they did to me. I am so upset that I have wasted $1500 and these custom blinds that now have to go in to the garbage.
