EICC members come from electronics, retail, auto and toy industries across the globe and bring diverse perspectives to global supply chain challenges and solutions.

Membership Eligibility

EICC membership is open to companies that manufacture or contract the manufacture of electronic goods or a product in which electronics are essential to the primary functionality of the product, or supply materials used in the electronics of those goods.

Supporting Responsible Supply Chain Management

EICC members commit and are held accountable to a common Code of Conduct and utilize a range of EICC training and assessment tools to support continuous improvement in the social, environmental and ethical responsibility of their supply chains.

Collaborating on Key Issues

The EICC facilitates collaboration and dialogue among companies, workers, governments, civil society, investors and academia to gather perspectives and expertise to support and drive our members toward achieving the EICC mission of a responsible global electronics supply chain.

The EICC today announced the launch of the Responsible Labor Initiative (RLI), a multi-industry, multi-stakeholder initiative, to help companies address the root causes of forced labor.

The EICC’s eighth annual report covers 2016 and highlights our efforts related to protecting vulnerable workers, the responsible sourcing of raw materials, chemical management, environmental sustainability, public procurement, training and capability-building, the CFSI, the VAP, EICC-ON and many other initiatives that aim to improve social, ethical and environmental conditions in the global supply chain.

The EICC’s and CFSI’s Responsible Raw Materials Initiative (RRMI) published a progress report and an overview of its cobalt-related activities as of April 2017.
